MRPD (Mushroom Research ,Production & Development) is headed by a Scientist /Director/Technical officer/Manager and supporting staff.

It shall include all projects pertaining to Mushroom production, postharvest technology, Mushroom based products and processing.

MBDD (Mushroom Business Development) is headed by Director/Technical officer/Manager and supporting staff.It shall include income generating projects categorized as commercial & allied.

Administrative Services

AMD( Administrative Management Department):

The AMD provides a responsive ,relevant organization complement capable of adapting to emerging demands and trends in the environment,and providing all necessary,implementable welfare programs for all employees of the NIRMT.

FMD( Financial Management Department): The FMD is responsibility for performing financial management,transactions, and provide sufficient, efficient and effective landing of the financial resources of the NIMRT.

PSID(Physical Site Institute Department): The PSID maintains the Institute’s power utilities, telephone system, water and sewerage facilities, office machines, laboratory apparatus and appliances, grounds, parks, road networks and drainage systems, buildings and physical structures, farm machinery, and heavy equipment and transport vehicles.

AUSD( Auxiliary Services Department): The Auxiliary Services is responsible for the welfare of the CLSU constituents and outside clients through better access to health services, provision of cheap but quality foods, domiciliary, and other auxiliary services. The units under this are NIRMT Health Services, Food and Lodging, Staff Housing Unit and Visitors/farmers.

The NIMRT is the premier professional Institute for the cultivated mushroom industry, representing large, medium, and small growers .
NIMRT’s mission is to provide a unified presence and effective representation across various legislative and regulatory agencies, research and community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that the mushroom industry’s concerns are addressed in a manner that benefits our member companies and industries.

As a member of NIMRT you will receive: Advocacy: NIMRT brings together members of the industry with regulatory, legislative, and other related agencies to stay informed on issues affecting the industry and influence policy to benefit member companies. As a thought leader in the industry, NIMRT helps members navigate regulatory issues in worker and food safety, organic compliance, business issues, funding opportunities, and much more. We work on behalf of the industry, but also work with and advise individual members on a particular issue.

Best Practices & Research: From business and economic practices to energy, sanitation, NIMRT provides members with the latest best practices to help members optimize their own businesses. NIMRT also works with colleges and universities of all sizes, as well as consulting groups, on industry research focusing on business costs (labour and inputs), organic costs, compost, sustainability and carbon valuation, consumer behaviour, nutrition, and more.

Communications: In addition to the yearly journal, Dr.Mushroom Nutrigenomics News, NIMRT receives timely resources and information through emails, the website, and social media channels. Members also have access to member alerts, toolkits, talking points, crisis management, NMIRT’s membership directory and media, communications, and public relations support.

Industry Influencers: NIMRT frequently meets and consults with cutting-edge entrepreneurs, researchers, and business groups to share their products, information, and more, along with business leaders who attend NIMRT meetings and government and industry leaders who present information and listen to member issues.
